I went to Sibu wif E.J. on Saturday (9/6/2007). We suddenly made up our mind to go to eat Sibu food during our lunch at Pizza Hut the day before we depart. Our Operation "Chiong Sibu" took off around 5:30am on Sautrday morning. We stopped by at Serian for breakfast. Finally, we reached Sibu around 12:30pm.
Here's some of the Sibu nice food that you should try it out...
1) Shabu - Shabu (Lunch - Day 1)
This Shabu - Shabu Restaurant is located just opposite McDonald's in Premier Hotel. Two people can share for one set of shabu-shabu. The drinks here also nice. Other than shabu - shabu, you could try a variety of dishes at very reasonable price.

2) Snow Flakes ( Hi Tea - Day 1)
After checked in at Eden Inn, We went shopping before heading to eat snow flakes. This shop is called "大同居". The name of the shop sounds quite weird. It is located at the lorong beside Maybank opposite Sibu Post Office. For me, I think the Coffee Snow Flakes is the best. Yummy..

Coffee Flavoured Snow Flakes.
3) Hong Fu Restaurant ( Dinner - Day 1)
We reached Hong Fu Restaurant around 5:30pm for dinner. This restaurant is famous for its crab and pork leg. It is located just behind the Sibu Bus Terminal. You should come here early or reserve a seat to avoid disappointment. E.J. and I ordered:
1 kg of Mongolian Style Crab.
1kg of Crab with Egg.
1 dish of Butter Pork.
2 bowls of rice.
2 Ice Lemon Tea.
For your information, the crab is RM 17 per kg and the Philiphine Pork Leg costs RM 23 each. The crab is superb. This is the main reason we come to Sibu. Hahahaaaaa. :D

4) Fruit Ice (Supper - Day 1)
We went for supper around 10pm. This stall is located at Muhibbah. Look out for stall No 5. Its cheap yet nice. We also ordered "Half Sided Clam". However, I still prefer "Half Sided Clam" at Bandong.

5) Kampua Mee and Kong Pia (Breakfast - Day 2)
E.J., Jamie and I went to a coffee shop near Deshon Roundabout for breakfast before sending Jamie to airport. I have ordered a plate of Kampua Mee and a piece of Kong Pia. Thanks to Jamie for the treat. Heheee...
6) Prawn Mee ( Lunch - Day 2)
We went to eat Prawn Mee before going back to Kuching. This shop is situated near Pagoda Temple and its behind the newly located Cafe - Cafe. The shop is called Min Kong Cafe. Just look out for the tinted glass coffee shop.
We started our Operation "Chiong Kuching" at 1:30pm. We reached Kuching around 7pm. Tired but FUN...
